Seems like an asset allocation move by institutions before the quarter end from bonds to stocks. I think the end of this bull run is near.

nice move caveman. we could see a bounce at the 2-year lows because we would be very short term oversold. but on a medium term basis we are not oversold and i could see a move a lot lower.

Market Owl,

With stocks going up and treasuries going down, peoples allocation to stocks is growing by default.

The asset allocators are supposed to buy treasuries and sell stocks in order to rebalance.

You're right, it could just be funds deciding they need to get into stocks and they are selling bonds in order to raise cash for their equity purchases.

It could just be the end of the Fed MBS program having the expected knock-on effect on rates, while equities are behind the curve.
