A diary of the thought process behind my investment decisions
Conditioned To Cover
A large part of the reason that I covered my shorts so quickly is that after the past half year I have been conditioned to cover shorts quickly. I am likely not the only one. That is usually when the big dips occur.

I think it was a mistake. Apple is breaking down. This market should be breaking out with all this "good" news...it clearly is NOT. We should start a 5% move lower.
When leadership fails, look out below. First financials (GS in particular), then AAPL, AMZN, and the biggest bull of them all- GOLD. Fasten your seatbelts!

I am still short just not as short. To be honest, it felt like a mistake when I was doing it.
Its still in the area where I covered. I probably should reshort, but I dont feel so well and want to have a restful weekend.
Hey - You did the right thing... taking every trade is not worth the price you'd pay in anxiety. Enjoy your weekend and relax.
